I just thought I'd go take pictures of my pretty flock. I bought most of these chicks in March. They've been laying for about 2 months, the eggs are steadily getting larger and increasing in number!
Welsummer
Shoelace (and her plucked butt
)
One of my lovely blue cochins--- a little shy
One of the new BOs
Raspberry the RIR and her two EE friends, Biscotti and Shoelace
Freshly cleaned and wonderful smelling nest boxes
This evening's eggs.
I believe the top one (looks white but is actually cream) either belongs to an EE or a Cochin-- more likely cochin..
The two medium brown ones are definately BO.
The GIANT (seriously, get MASSIVE green and olive colored eggs here) green one is EE.
And that dark brown one has to be Welsummer. Look at that bloom! It appears almost purplish.
