My flock breeds?

BSL = Black Sexlink

I don't think Sadie and Libby or rsarns birds are BSLs. BSLs are black with gold leakage on the breast, not silver.

Your birds and rsarns birds look to have the "birchen" coloration. There's a few breeds that come in that color, but I'm not familiar with those breeds. Hopefully someone else can chime in!

My 2 are hatchery birds, bough 6 black chicks, 2 were cuckoo Marans, 2 Langshans and 2 BSL's. The only 2 that I can ID for sure are the 2 cuckoo Marans. The other 4 are up in the air. The 2 I have pics of here and 2 all black with black legs.... I have been told the 2 with the silver on them are BSL's, I can tell you they are pretty! Can't wait for them to start laying.
