My Flock Journey

Update on My Flock:
Today Hazel is 2 months and 6 days old. I just realised that in afew months she will be laying! She melts my heart on a daily.

My chicks are 12 days old today. I have remaining. 2 Purebred Black Australorps, 2 Light Sussex and 3 Rhode Island Reds. They are just so cute and fluffy. Some are starting to get feathers but some are still lil fluff balls.

Me: I'm still sad that I had to cull a chick and the losses that I have had but im still a determined mumma and im still determined to have chickens and for them to Free Range successfully.

The side fence where the coop is will be replaced soon. Still waiting on a quote. Mates rates so I wont push until its a priority.

So thats My Flock Journey Update :pop
:love xx

Great update!! I know how difficult it must be!!

Update on my babies:
They are going really well. I checked over the 2 remaining Black Australorp chicks they look good. No signs of any issues so hopefully no issues will arise with them and they are out of the woods.

My chicks are 2 weeks old today. I am starting to wonder how many will be hens or roos???

So I have 7 chicks left. How many do you think will be roos?
I think 3 and my partner thinks 1.
