My fresh eggs are hard to peel.

A method that works for me is to (carefully!) put in the eggs in the water AFTER it is already boiling. That causes the white to shrink a bit and the peel is much easier to remove. Also, like others have said, a little vinegar to the water. Be sure to 'scare' the eggs after boiling (immerse in ice water for 10 minutes).

Lol I think the word you’re looking for is shock, not scare....
