Ok so today I got the lash
egg. What now. I'll be out of town starting tonight for 6 days. The husband is in charge. I don't even no where to start.

She really needs to see a vet to get appropriate antibiotics. If you can't do that then I guess monitor her, but she is unlikely to improve. I am reluctant to say cull her b/c I haven't seen her - your call, sorry

She hasn't been acting sick at all since Sunday she's back to his good old self. Just no eggs until this thing. I guess we're going to have to wait it out at least until I get back from Seattle. Thanks for your advice

Is your husband able to euthanize her for you if she needs it because it may come to that within the week? All you can do is ask him to monitor her closely and be prepared to end it for her once her quality of life deteriorates. I'm sorry but once they have salpingitis it is usually a one way ticket to the next life. Antibiotics at an early stage can sometimes help but I'm pretty sure she is well past that now.

I'm so sorry we can't help you fix her.

So Sally is so far so good. She's not laying but other than that seems to be her old self. I dosed her with cephelexin, and started everyOne on drench.
