My friend wants a pet duck

I just wanted to add that 2 ducks is a bad number as if one passes away unexpectedly, you end up with an incredibly lonely and panicked duck and would then need to get an appropriate friend immediately, which is not always easy.

This, I learned the hard way...

Same! This happens to me once, then I got two more to be company for my remaining duck. But then the remaining ducks and one of my new ones was killed and I had one all over again. A month later she passed too (predators) so I decided not to get ducks again for a while. Well here I am 2 years later starting over with FOUR.

I have 2 hens at the moment but my 3 chicks are moving outside in a week
