I second it, maybe the frigid weather is keeping if from healing as fast. I would dif keep the ACV going.Well if it´s not any worse, it sounds good....it should slowly mend, just keep it clean like you´re doing...good job.

That's some cold temps. hopefully since your keeping the ACV in the water she is at least washing her bill off and keeping bacteria at bay, but be hard for me to believe that bacteria could live in those temps. Hopefully it will fill in over time.Maybe it has been in the negatives for a good week and a half now. She eats, drinks, and still acts fine so I guess it's not bothering her too much. I am keeping the ACV going probably will until spring just because this winter has been horrible. Hopefully Amelia will have healed up by then. I feel bad that I can't do more for her. Every time I think of something I could put on it I remember that she puts her bill in water and it would wash off and might end up getting everyone sick or worse. There's no way for me to wrap it at all. I'm really lost as to anything else I could give her. I do give her a yogurt snack about once a week just in case it might help in any way.

It doesn't look infected? oh and I looked for the mag. and my grocery strore that carries more mag than I even care to mention, did not have it so I guess next time I head to big city I'll look at Walmart and TSC.It's been terribly cold here this winter. Worse than normal. I'm hoping that it will help to. The only thing that would really get into it is the feed but once she takes a drink I imagine it would wash right back out. I checked her again today and she still shows no signs of improvement. Poor girl.
Let me know please and hopefully mine will have it by the time we go which will probably be in a couple weeks. Tell me the name again and maybe we can look on line.Nope still looks the same as it did before. All black and blue like. Hmm I wonder if it is out yet. I'll be going to my local TSC Thursday and will have to see if they have it or know when they will be getting it in.

Thanks after I asked you the name I found the paper I had written it on.Yes I will let you know what they say. The name of it is "Ducks" and it is the 2nd edition. There's a magazine called ducks unlimited but that's not it. Just a heads up since it comes up when you Google the "Ducks" magazine.

I was really surprised the grocery store didn't carry it but they didn't even have Back Yard Poultry and most stores carry it.
