my gander is bleeding from his leg help please

I have lots of Blue Kote stuff, towels, clothes, and of course the hands oh my gosh, If i use it now I use Latex gloves and wrap the duck/chicken in a towel and keep the part I'm treating away from me, I have even gotten it on the wall in the duck house.

Lol oh my.. That sounds like exactly what would happen to me.

I had to use some just tonight on the comb of one of my roosters cause they r getting frisky with each other but it looks bad on a mostly white chicken. Lol. His head and back on neck is all purple now

It's not easy being purple.....

So an update. Amelia's one wing healed but now the other looks the same way? Could it have to do with my ganders? I'm trying to find a home for him but haven't had much luck. Also Cheese has gone full molt. I know when she was healing from the dog attack she molted and her feathers came back but she was outside during the day then. My dinning room looks like a duck was murdered in there all the time. I sweep up more feathers than I do dog hair now. Is that normal for them to loose so many feathers like that? I have her on acv and electrolytes.

Yep, just think how pretty she'll be when she is done. And the gander could be causing the wing problem or she is rubbing them onto something.

I sure hope so. The way she's going I could probably make a whole new flock of ducks with all her feathers lol. Hmm I wonder what it could be. The only thing I can think of would be their coop, the fencing, I have a tarp hanging over half of their hole to the pen, and they have a dog house in the pen too. Other than that nothing to out of the ordinary. Unless, I wonder could it be maybe her hitting her wings off things? Like from trying to flap her wings in smaller areas? Technically she has plenty of room to spread her wings but if say the ducks or other geese have it so that she's just in a smaller spot maybe she tries to flap her wings and hits them off the walls or something like that? Kind of a far fetched theory but it really would explain her wounds being on both wings in the same spot.

When my gander and drake use to fight that is where my ganders wounds would mostly be, it's a place that probably takes alot of wear and tear from scuffling, wing flapping etc.

as for feathers when mine molt it does look like theres been a major pillow fight and this is outside can't imagine what inside would look like. but you know temp change stress all things like that can bring on molt.

Hmm than maybe it is the ganders causing them bruises. Oh inside it is not pretty lol. She's still molting, I'm surprised she isn't bald yet haha. I know Cheese molted after the dog attack when her feathers started to come in. So I'm assuming that's what caused it, is her feathers coming back in.
