My girl is dead

But she wasn't overweight and she was still laying. She laid the day before.
Neither matter when it comes to fatty liver disease.
It's almost impossible to tell if a chicken is overweight just by looking at it. If you opened one up and saw fat on the organs it would be a sign of it being overweight.

We can all guess the million different reasons she died but I was just pointing out that fatty liver disease kills without any signs or symptoms and it kills instantly.

Urgent! Please help. Another girl was found dead today. I just dropped her off for a necropsy at the vet. I don't know what's going on here but I found more of the orangish/reddish stuff in the stool like last time. (Blood?!) Should I try treating for coccidiosis? And just treat all, just in case?

If there is even a slight possibility that you are dealing with coccidiosis You should treat the entire flock at the same time Corid. If they do not have coccidiosis treating them with Corid won't hurt.

When did the vet say they would have the results back?
Is the vet performing it himself or are they sending it to your state lab for you?

They said I would have results in a few days. I don't know who is actually going it.

I just put two teaspoons of corid in their two gallon water bowl.

Do I need to clean out/disinfect the run and coop? Anything else I should or can do as a a preventative in the meantime?
