My girl is dead

I don't feel weight loss but will weigh them today. They're certainly eating a drinking.
I haven't seen any bugs but am seeing little bits of red in the stool. It's a very small amount but tends to be more of a stringy red. What would that be?

I'm still a chicken newbie and feel like I'm sitting and waiting for another to die. Please help. Advice welcomed.
With the weight, check their body condition. They shouldn't feel bony. Here's a handy little chart.

Stringy red bits in stool are usually intestinal lining as they do shed it. You can dump Peroxide on it and if it bubbles away, it's blood and if not, it's the intestinal lining or something else. Here's the ever-handy chicken poop chart.

The Corrid dosage is 2 tsp per gallon so you need 4 tsp for 2 gallons of water. Change it out every day and treat for 5 days at 2 tsp/gallon then reduce the amount to .5 tsp/gallon for 7 to 14 days.

I haven't dealt with worms in chickens so I don't know if you can treat for worms and cocci at the same time. My experience with worms in dogs/cats says that isn't a worm you're point at. But again, I have zero experience with worms in chickens. It's entirely possible your girls got into something they shouldn't have, like a moldy food scraps, and have something like botulism.

Yes, I started the Corid yesterday evening.
They eat Purina Flock Raiser crumbles, oyster shell, grit. I give some snacks like kale/collard greens, garlic mash, yogurt, fruit.
Right now they are eating stuff from the yard. I don't use any chemicals in my yard.

Edit. Are these worms. Found in the stool...
The link is a bit confusing. Is it two teaspoons for 2 gallons or 2 tsp per each gallon?

The picture isn't focused on the red thing so it's hard to tell. Roundworms are usually bigger than that. Cecal worms could be that size.

Did this come out of fresh poop and is it or was it moving?

Yes you can use a dewormer and give Corid at the same time.
Most dewormers need to be given straight to the beak....not mixed in water like Corid.

Make sure you don't offer any vitamins while giving Corid. I'd not give any treats, at all, for now.

I'm absolutely worried sick. I don't clean out my run, I just pour fresh material (hemp, pine straw, dried leaves) on top. Should I clean it out?

I didn't see it immediately after coming out...it was still soft stool but nothing was moving.

Does it get wet in there? Have you looked for mold?

Can you recommend a specific dewormer? Link, maybe?

I just looked for mold. I didn't see any. The area near the door gets wet too. I put new tarps on a couple for weeks ago.
I am noticing something....my EE's eggs look smaller than normal.

I am so sorry for your loss. Never knew you could actually fall in love with chickens. They bring Joy to your life.
