My baby died of a seizure. There was nothing I could do after all.

There is almost a lump near her abdomen, but I'm not sure if this is normal. She secreting something that is clear liquid. She shivers from time to time but it might just be from the cold.

I wonder if she was egg bound?

Death throes. Only way to know what killed her is a necropsy.

I’m sorry for your loss, sometimes there is very little we can do. You did everything you could for her and it sounds like she had a wonderful life with you and was a very happy hen.
