You are just a little bit excited

I can see that . So what is the count now ? Had two hatch during the night and now worried they will all hatch before the babies get here to watch .

I haven't been out yet to check just got here . so is it 8 or 9 or what .

Maybe just a little. We're at 10 chicks now... One is still drying off. No pips in the egg that is left, even if it won't hatch I will still have a 90-91% hatch rate.

Bantam. It did get pretty cold before setting, but it had drawdown today, so I know it made it this far.

Well, the last one is dead but I have 10 beautiful, healthy chicks I HATCHED MYSELF!!

Now, all I have to do is eggtopsy, clean the bator, find another egg source, someone to take the chicks.... And set again.

This is addicting.

Okay, did the eggtopsy.... It was very dead, thankfully, no life. (I didn't kill it! Yay!) It was malpositioned. Pics are in backwards chronological order, (so start at the end, lol sorry) and I tried to keep large end up while the chick was in the shell, for clarity. It was perfect, intestines internalized and yolk almost fully absorbed but it had tucked its head between its legs, instead of under the wing.
