Only off by a bit.
what is a bit and did the temperature drop with the humidity ?
2%. I'm figgering the humidity aint too scientific.... I did note it.
Umm...... I didn't check the tempature..... Should I have?![]()
please don't throw your shoes at me!
The highest reading I got was 73%, then it dropped to 72% around the time I decided to take it out. Yes, I did set it.not going to do that . did you adjust the hygrometer to 75% by turning the little nob? this little hygrometer is so accurate that when set . for a 2% drop there should have a temperature drop .also . but as long as you adjusted it you should be fine . so the question is what was the humidity when you stopped the calibration .because the bag would have been very close to 75% at the highest reading and you should have made the adjustment from that and my guess is the reading was low .. that is the beauty of this hygrometer it can be set to exact humidity and holds it very well . I will recalibrate mine 75 % at 75 degrees in my hatching incubator. I'll see how six months of constant use has affected them .and let you know first of the week . busy weekend so it will take a while to get to it . now what is your dry humidity in your incubator? and I have to put chickens on and get all my chores done be back much latter .
