Should I wait any longer?

yes you should If it has not reached 75 % by 12 hours go the full twenty four to make sure . I always go twenty four anyway . better safe than sorry .my net says twenty four

Bubbles. if it were me, I'd open the lid and let moisture out for a minute. Then put the lid back on and see where the humidity settles. That's what I have to do to mine, after washing a cleaning it seems some moisture gets retained.
