My hen never layed eggs since last summer and winter and since the begging of march she suddenly started laying eggs any advice?

Hens in general when getting out of their coop are impatient to get out, but my hen was never really like that until she started laying eggs again, she tries to get out and the other day she got her head stuck on the window of her coop, it is a very strange behaviour which I haven't seen in her till now

From 8pm to 9 am, now that she is like that I've started to ler her out early at 10 am

Why? You mean, you lock her in until she lays?

She's probably bored and eager to get out of the coop. I try to let mine out of the run when the sun rises, but I don't close the coop at night so they can still get to the run when it's daytime if I can't open the run before leaving

No I can not keep the doors open during the night time because where we live there are many coyotes and foxes around and possums so for safety I keep them locked in their coop in the nights

Do you not have a run for them? Why don't you let them out earlier?

I am very afraid of letting them out during the day without supervision since last year during spring one my hens got attacked by a hawk so I let them out at 10 am instead of 7 or 8 am , but during that time I did not have this hen

I did that before but one of my hens got attacked by a hawk and I didn't want to run anymore risks for them

Do you not have a run for them? Why don't you let them out earlier?
