My hen was constantly off to the side....

Hello, I deeply regret to have to make this post, but my beloved amber died. A few days back, I noticed that she was off.. laying in the corner, eyes closed. I knew something was wrong. I listened to her breathing, which sounded fine. She was with a medium sized flock of other chickens, and no one else is sick. We have a hay feeder for the rabbits in their pasture, but her crop just seemed empty. I didn't see her eating. Just drinking. We live in Michigan, so the weather is constantly hot and cool. I was worried that she had an egg stuck, but when I pressed gently around her vent I felt nothing. Is there anything else it could be?

She was 3 years old, and had a diet of scratch grains, layer feed, and grass. She was laying a few weeks ago, about an egg a day. I just put the whole flock on dewormer that was recommended by a vet a month or so ago.

not that I had seen. I checked her body over after her passing for lice, infections, ect
