My Ivy.. Latest Relapse...She's Gone

Sounds like Ivy was a great bird. At leat she died peacefully with her sister.

Ok, baked blueberry bread made with whole wheat flour, flax seed, raw honey, 1% milk, an extra egg, 2 cups of blueberries, yogurt and a spritz or two of combined wheat germ oil/ Red Cell. EVERYBODY got blueberry bread, even the tiny babies.

Speaking of Tiny, since her first egg, she's laid an egg each of the two days since. It is teensy tiny, half as large as the other pullets eggs, completely in line with her petite frame (all pretty pearly beige).

Broodies Panda and Nora had a battle royale today. Tom had to separate them and when he scooped Panda up, her two usually skittish little ones came running to him to be picked up. Everyone is fine, but they sure can go at it!

Cyn, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember when you got them. All the stories. Especially on how you were not sure if both were girls or not. One day they were and the next they were not. lol Due to the diffrence in coloring. I can't remember who was the one in such question. I just wish there was something I could say that would help in easing yours and Toms pain in her passing.

Gosh, you have a good memory! Yes, it was Lexie you are talking about, who still has rooster-like coloring. She broke every Barred Rock sexing rule, LOL.
