Well, Riley and Nugget are both acting like they're gearing up. I was just hoping that Shadow, being where she last raised chicks, would decide it was her time, too. I can put more eggs under Nugget, though, since she's a huge Buff Orp girl.

Oh, guess what? DH reports that Nugget is full-on broody and guarding a nest. So when we put Shadow back with the flock, Nugget will move right into that little broody cage with a clutch of Orp eggs.
