She is the same, as are Olivia and Ginger. Ivy is having difficulty with her breathing for the pressure on her organs, but she is still moving and eating and drinking well. Doesn't seem to be in pain and she isn't sitting around that much. I put her in a pen with a heat lamp at night so she doesn't have to struggle to stay warm, but I don't see any improvement at all and her poop is very runny, none solid at all.

I haven't forgotten Ivy for my own little brood Cyn.

She and you are still both very much on my mind. Keeping her comfortable is about all you can do dear lady. I know you've done everything you can for her. It's up to Ivy and the Great Spirit now.

I check every day for any news on Ivy - you are both in my thoughts constantly - if any chicken can overcome this it will be Ivy - she will want to stay with you as you are the best Mum she ever could have had the fortune to be with in her hour of need - all the best Cynthia and Ivy.

Ivy has not changed. If anything, she's a bit more energetic, so after her spending several nights under a heat lamp with the weather now warming up at night, we have put her back with the flock. Her abdomen is fluidy, but not tight, and her color is excellent. Olivia's abdomen is tight as a drum and she keeps getting on a nest, so now Olivia is in the broody pen where Ivy was living so we can watch her closely. This stuff never ends.
