No rain...I got puddles on top of puddles here but yesterday it was too danged hot to rain. Oh and the electric bill shows it $250.00

It's so weird for me to hear about everyone's hot weather. It's still in the 50s here. I'm not complaining! I love it! We've had a couple days in the 70s. I'd like it to stay this way. We've had tons of rain, I enjoy that too. It means less work in the garden. *lol*

I felt Ivy's abdomen today. It's worse than it was before we drained off all the fluid. Darn it, I'm going to miss her so much! She is so weak that she loses her balance, but she dives for the goodies with everyone else. I hate her being jostled around and knocked over by the overenthusiastic coop-mates. I want to drain her again, but that isn't the issue. There is all sorts of stuff in there that shouldn't be and it's going to do her in. At least she made it this far--she was four years old in March.

Poor sweet tough Ivy. I am so sorry Cyn.

Do you think she will still be with you when I get there next week? If not, give her a pat and scratch from me soon and tell her I want her to look out for my my little Miracle and Fancy...who passed on.

Honestly, I have no idea if she'll be here next week, Ladyhawk. If so, you get to meet my wonderful girl. If she does seem like she is giving up, we'll help her along, but she is putting up a valiant fight.

Well...what does she like with her biscuits? I will have to get the fixins for her favorite meal of goodies. God has a special place in his heart for animals and I think a really special one for Ivy.
