I am so sorry about you losing your eggs in the ant invasion, I know it sucks but please don't blame yourself.

Well moron me here, decided to add eggs to te incubate last Saturday, I had them shipped before I realize I shouldn't add them. Now I am desperately trying to make a hatcher out of a styrofoam cooler. The temp keeps flucating and it is driving me crazy. Out of the six eggs I originally put in there only two were fertile and they are both doing good. Need to more them to the hatcher tomorrow. I am so hoping I can get this to work.

Mine are on day 10 today. Unfortunately the Temp spiked really high one day so they all may be dead, but i will keep them until i can either candle them or they pass thier due date. Sorry to hear about yours Annies. I have 9 eggs in my bator (6 JG and 3 D'uccles)

We rinsed a few of them because they were shipped and some of the eggs cracked and got others all smeary and gross, so I did rinse a few of the eggs gently before incubation. Why? Kristy
