my journey with cancer

Awww...somehow I missed this thread so I am chiming in now. All of you who have fought and are fighting the battle, I am so amazed by your strength and tenacity.
GuienaLady, I truly hope that Hubby pulls his 85 year old head out of his butt and realizes what a fabulous woman he has by his side. I wonder if some of his attitude is from early onset dementia. Not an excuse, just a thought. There are lots and lots of programs out there that can help you with him if you need it. PM me or post here and I will find out whats closest to you. As the others have wisely mentioned...You are the important one right now and every ounce of strength and energy you put into other things only takes away from what you have to battle with.

You will be in my prayers.
Blessings, Kim

I just stumble upon this post:

I just finished reading all of this one. I'm still fairly new here, so I didn't know Pam, but she sounded like a fighter. I can't believe that her cancer took her so fast, or was it her heart that gave out?
Rest in Peace, Pam.
For those of you "survivors" that kept up with the pep talks...you are an awesome group of people! Keep up the good fight, my prayers are with you all.

How very sad to hear that we lost one of our community members.

With the sadness, my heart is warmed by the caring comments and support of the family that she had here on BYC.

I never knew Guinealady on BYC, nor in person. But she was mentioned on the Crazy Pullet's thread, and so I found this thread, and thought I would chime in and say that I too am very sorry to hear of this loss of a fellow BYC member.

Prayers and hugs sent to her friends and family, and also to those BYCers who are still fighting and who supported her and seemed like such a caring, wonderful community of people who know what one another are going through and help by supporting each other.

Again, so sorry for the loss of a member who was unknown to me, but I'm sure many other members knew her either personally or on BYC.
