My Juvenile Chick broke her wing PLEASE HELP 😭

Pics
How do I do the popsicle stick method?
I don't have gauzes...

She was in my bedroom... She was perching on a box. I think she slipped and banged her wing on the side of the box hard. I've been raising six baby factory farm chickens in my bedroom. I got them on November 17, 2022.
I adopted them and they weren't even a day old when I got them.
Why exactly was a broiler chicken perching in your room?

Like I said...
It ain't my first rodeo raising broilers. No matter what species of chicken it is...I will rescue them. Also, they were raised in my room because when I got them, it was basically winter. They are going to be outside in a chicken coop this spring when we get the fencing up.

Thank you for the advice.
Yeah, sometimes one has to have some discernment when considering the best time of year to source chicks. Winter time is usually not the best time in most places.

Hope you are able to get her seen by vet so you can get the wing taken care of and meds if needed to prevent bone infection.

They came to me out of no where. Mother just brought them to me since she told her boss that I lost one of my pet hens from a chicken hawk. The boss gave my mother the black chicks because the white chicks bully and harass the black ones until they starve to death. Her boss owns a meat chicken farm.

Also... I can't drive and no one is around to drive me to the local wild sanctuary. ;-;
Muffin is not in pain, but the word infection got me to worry even more. I do have fish antibiotics, but idk if that would help or not...
I might have to try to do it myself. I was taught agriculture animal science in highschool and they even taught all about the different fractures. I might...be able to come up with a solution that won't hurt her in a way where it'll help out until I can get one of my family members to drive me to the closest wild sanctuary. I just need to do a lot of research quickly.

Ok, she's settled. I bandaged up her wing. She doesn't like it because she keeps falling over. I think chickens use their wings for balance. I keep comforting her and speaking to her as simply as I can. I told her to calm down and let me do all the work. She did calm down. šŸ˜†
My brats know basic words since I always talk to them. I'm indeed a proud weirdo.
Anyways, I cleaned her wound before wrapping it tight in bandages. It's not too tight. We do not want to cut blood circulation.

This should hold out until I get somebody to drive me to the wild sanctuary for an actual professional. For now... I'll hand feed her like a baby. It's easy peasy for me to do that. 😊
Anyways....thank you so much for all of the advice and support. God bles you all. šŸ’—
I'll keep you guys updated on her condition if you want. It's the only way I could probably pay back. ;-;
