Crossing a blue layer (as long as it has 2 blue genes) with a brown layer should yield green eggs as the chick will get 1 blue from one parent, 1 brown from the other. If the blue layer has only one blue gene your odds of getting a green layer drop to 50%. The OE hen has already reduced your odds to 50% since she has only 1 blue gene.

Leg color has no bearing on egg color.

With Araucana based blue egg layers, the blue egg shell gene is closely linked to the pea comb. This will not work with Cream Legbar based blue egg layers though.

Brown Genes are a lot more complicated. There are 9-13 of them and there is also a dominant white from leghorns.

All that got side tracked watching Pyxis' Emu hatch ... what an amazing thing to thing all that was stuffed inside an egg.... and how quickly it popped out of a shell thats probably 3/32 of an inch thick....

Yes you are right.... Teaching hospital and the Oncologist/Surgeon is the director of the department....

Seen lots of interns and gave permission for him to use my surgery as a teaching session.

CPAP.... Titration.... sleep over with a CPAP machine. monitored to see what settings work for me.... on the 17th. Hopfully I get the machine that night... but for certain They will have me one soon after that.

I am sooo tired.... Tired of waking up gasping for breath. Tired of nightmares where I cant breathe... Now that I know they werent just nightmares or heart attacks... Waking up catch my breath.
