My leukemia's back.

Hey all!

Popping in while I'm cooking dinner. Today was way too busy to worry about going back to work

. Left the house at 7am, made it home just after 6pm. Dr appointment, lots of shopping, other errands......I'm tired.

But, I did some clothes shopping and I'm going to look pretty at work

. I've not really bought nice new clothes for three years, just sweats and T-shirts, things like that. So it was a nice treat.

Anyway, gotta go, just wanted to say thanks for all the thoughts.

Wow - I hadn't been around the thread for some time, seems I have missed a lot - what a wonderful update to come back around and read. SO glad to hear you had a good day, got to buy yourself some things to feel pretty in and that you are going back to work -- GOOD LUCK tomorrow!

Go get 'em Rachel! I'll bet you look great and will have a great day tomorrow!

I promised a new pic of Ashley the other day and forgot to post it. So here's our Ash, with the card she took to the hospital for Doctor Appreciation Day! She never stops smiling!

Great photo, Blooie!
Here's one for you all to help with:
The chipmunk chicks are females. The one against the rock is a CL male. So here is the question: Which female is the Bielefelder and which is the Cream Legbar? I pretty sure I know but...

Whew!

Okay, April Fools Day may not have been the best day to start a new job

. Good thing I know a lot of the staff and who to look out for. Toothpaste filled Oreos? Seriously?

But it was a good day. I'm remembering a good amount, so that's a pleasant surprise. I'm going to have to figure out a way to configure my desk for standing, or something, though. I thought I was pretty sedentary at home, but nope, not compared to being chained to that computer all day. I'll go nuts having to sit that much. My sister does an office job and has her stuff all at standing height, so I'll pick her brain.

So, with the feeling sick lately---my Mom told me today my Dad has pneumonia and she has an upper respirator infection, they're both on antibiotics. Shocker--now where would I have gotten sick? Honey's feeling better today, Big boy is at the low of it and should be better tomorrow. I think I'm on the upswing. I knew Dad was sick while I was up there, I'm glad she got him into the doctor finally.

I lost one of my Camo egger chicks, but everyone else is doing great. I'm collecting more Marans and bantam eggs to set
