Yes, it does!

I use the bakery thrift store also. I come out with 2 bags full of bread products for $15. A lot goes in the freezer, the rest in the fridge. Will last about 3 weeks. Savings about 66-75%.
I bake my bread products.

I will be baking loaf bread and english muffins this weekend.

Good good good news

I'm making my own red blood cells, enough to have a slight bump in my numbers, all on my own!

My new immune system had recovered from my recent infection and is making white blood cells. My count is approaching normal--yippee!

And last but not least, I'm making platelets! I hit the benchmark of 50 today. This means my blood can now clot enough that if I get in a car wreck, I'm not going to bleed to death before I get to the hospital. Comforting, right? I can also shave, floss my teeth, and if my count stays above 50 for a few weeks I can start backing off one of my daily meds. This is so exciting for me, my platelets haven't been this high for literally a year, I don't think. So happy!

I did have to walk to the hospital to get a chest x-ray as my cough is coming back. To kill time I went to the gift shop. they have some of those pretty cut metal butterflies or dragonflies I really like, and I was thinking I could buy a pretty for myself to celebrate. None of them really jumped out at me, and when I looked at the price I decided what I'd really rather do with that money is..... buy some baby chicks.

I know, everyone here is shocked to hear me say that.
