Yes, It does Blooie! Very much so!Oh, yeah. Feeling great - it's weird. Until I started feeling so much better I didn't realize how bad I felt before. Um,does that even make sense??
Babies are good, pollen is aggravating, breathing issues bite it, spouses getting better is good, wind I hate, but Spring is here, and hope raises eternal. Everyone, allow yourselves a GOOD day.
"Close only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades".....but I think we can count poetic in there also![]()
Phil, I went down what I thought was really slow. I was on 15 mg a day for a good month. Then I dropped to 12.5 every other day for a week, then was on 12.5 for two days, 15 for a day, repeating that. I'd been on that for a week or so when I started flaring again. But, I think it's a combo of the gvh and a regular old cold or whatever, cause Honey woke up all snotty and icky this morning. Anyway, I bumped the prednisone back up to 20 mg a day for 3 days, then I'll go back to 15 and leave it at that for a while. That's my plan anyway, we'll see what the lung guy says to do. I'm hitting the nebulizer and the mucinex also.
11 baby chicks in the incubator! That's got me at almost a 50% hatch rate, and today is the actual hatch day, so things are looking good.
I'm collecting Marans eggs to set next. I still have not once seen that rooster mount a hen, or do any real courting behavior. I've had him about two months, it's spring, I don't know what his problem is. The hens aren't mean to him and I don't see any resistive behaviors at all. We'll see.
I love hatching season!
