Rest in Peace -2017
Meh. Yesterday was a holiday, home with the boys again. I'm telling you, there is such a thing as too much togetherness. They were getting on my nerves!
This thing with the insurance company is getting on my nerves, also. They are no where close to giving us what it's going to cost to replace our truck. Now, I find out they've been running comps on gas trucks, not diesel. And for some reason it's taking over a day to re-run with the diesel.....I'm getting so frustrated at only having one vehicle. The little Corolla is giving us issues also, it's currently parked at a local market where it died.
Honey walked in on a suicidal patient yesterday. I don't know about other states, but Oregon is cracking down on dispensing narcotics. I agree in general, but you can't just take these poor folks that have been given pain meds for years and years and stop them cold turkey. So, he was at that visit over 2 hours, dealing with the Sheriff and transporting the patient, that put him so far behind. He's pretty burned out on his job already, wrecking the truck didn't help, and they just keep piling up the hours on him when everyone else calls in sick or snowed in. He needs to stand up and say enough, but apparently he's not going to. He's filled out an application for an office type job, and I think it may be best for him. He's working 10+hours a day, and when he's home he's not much fun to be around, so stressed.
I did get all our inspections scheduled on the new place, so we'll see how those come back over the next 2 weeks or so.
At least the sun looks to be coming out today. I was all set to go down to the Y and use the pool, then I remembered....I have no vehicle
