Just a few blocks down from my daughter's school. When I pointed it out to her, she remarked, "somebody is so fired."Where in the world is that??? $9.99 & 9/10ths!! Run away!!!

Yeah, I'll get my gas at Costco, thanks!
Made it there and back, thank you Lord. Lots of driving, and soo much rain. Thankfully, things went well. We found our motel, made it to dinner, back to the motel, to the testing center this morning, and home...with only 1 U-turn! That's amazing for us country mice when we venture into the city.
I won't have the full results of the testing for a few weeks. But basically, she thinks my memory is okay, or better than I'd thought. The problem is concentration and attention, getting information into the memory. We'll see if they come up with anything useful if I have to go back to work full time. She's talking about needing a low stimulus environment, doing one task at a time, etc. That's not feasible in most offices I've been in.....but I'm not going to get too worked up about it yet.
I've decided I need to brave the rain and get out more. I'm going to set up another breeding pen tomorrow. With the time needed to cleanse the hens, if I don't get them separate now I wont' be able to hatch the crosses I want until summer. So, I'd better get on it!
Phil, I'm also interested in the grilling on a salt slab.....
.....Phil wish you could send out samples of your pork roast (I had to correct, I wrote roost first)![]()
What time is dinner?? Can we bring anything?Yeah.... The salt slab is good.... First you need the slab. I bought a nice Himalayan salt slab at the local spice merchants..... Today however I'm smoking a pork roast..... Using cherry..... Walnut and maple.
So glad the trip was uneventful - had to laugh at the "country mice" bit, that is EXACTLY how I felt when I was down there -- spent a lot of time going in circles trying to get back to where I had missed a turn, yelling at the GPS that I couldn't take a *!#* left, etc.Yeah, I'll get my gas at Costco, thanks!

Once asked a department manager why he always heaped the 'extra' work on my crew. His reply was, "You never say no."
