I don't know if they are easy to sex as chicks but from what I understand that when they are about 12-16 weeks there are noticable differences. I would post this question under the breeds thread. Maybe you will get someone who knows alot more about them. I just bought them 1 month ago. I think they are beautiful as well. Their feathers have a beautiful green sheen to them. Hey, thanks for your reply. I'm just shopping around and thought I'd ask you, you never know! I'll definetley (sp?)(I don't know why that word gives me a hard time ) check them out.
So far we love them, they are a lil skiddish but I think that 's cause we have only had them a month.. but they are sweet. The Barred rocks are sweet as well.
