Hi guys. I have a small well fed and cared for little flock of eleven. Two weeks ago one of my young orpingtons was fine one day and dead the next. She ate well but was bone thin when she died. Now my youngest layer is dying in my arms as I type. she was quiet yesterday but ate and today she's dying and I don't know why. They have been treated for mites and I can't find any on her. Why do they die. I'm beyond upset. The one dying is friendly and smart and almost gone. Any suggestions. I'm very attached to my birds. She is two. I had one bantam that was ten years old before a friends dog killed her. My little bantam is just breathing quietly with her eyes closed and slowly leaving me . I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks for reading this.
