Haven't been able to find it a friend? it is adorable but I hope you know that even at the age it is it can still chill. Don't mean to sound like a mother, [but I am one]

Oh my gosh he/she is soooo cute!! I am glad too that you saved this little duck and now he/she has a chance to have a happy life!!

But what is that awful racket in the second video...at first I was like, now that's a cool bird call! But by the end I was like, AHHHH, my ears!

I would say it looks like a Magpie or Ancona - the yellow will be white and the dark color (black or chocolate, can't tell from the video) will be black or chocolate! It's going to be very pretty. I've had both breeds, love them!

Looks about 2 weeks old. I agree it needs warmth, can go out, can bathe, but must have a warm place to dry off and sleep. Good luck on finding it a friend!

Here is a picture of a 4 week old Ancona in the foreground:

After his bath and see the Guinea chicken for the first time in it's live, One went back in his cosy warm "Rabbit Cage" with the red warm light.I let him out to have a bath and see something from the world every day. Ysterday only for a short time, because of the lot of rain. Most times he has a little cage with his little bathtub (a little catlitterpan) and I can clean up his insideplace.
Question...........how long he need the red light? Is it the same like chicken, till he got almost feathered?
This morning I noticed, that his droppings are a little too much on the loose side ( is a little running), anything I can do? One is on unmedicated Chickenstarter, a little peeps grit an a little Scratchgrain.
Tonight I will go back to the auction and please cross all your fingers, that I'm this time lucky and find a friend for one.
Sorry that I could not get better pic, for one, I'm a overprotectiv mom and for 2, I had a little surgery on Thursday and I'm still in pain and can't move like I want

Hope you get over your surgery quick and feel better. And hope you can find One a friend tonight. He should have heat till almost feathered, make sure it's about 80-85* in his rabbit cage. My duckling had heat for about 3 weeks only but it was very hot here and no air conditioning so he was fine in my room in a plastic dog kennel . The do seem to feather out faster if the heat isn't too high. As for poop I wouldn't give him scratch grain yet. just his starter, and maybe try him on some mashed up peas for a treat. they have so many kinds of poop that unless it looks very odd he's probably okay. just keep an eye on it. Here hoping for good outcome at auction!!!
