Josie was my sweetest most lovable mamas girl she was a light brahma
She was with me all the time as she was the only one that hatched out of the 2 I had in the incubator

Some of you know a raccoon got into my coops and took out most of my flock this time last year

This is one of my favorite pics of her sitting on my quilting I am trying to do
She looks pretty pleased with herself

She was still very young about 4 months old
I was devastated when I lost her

I'm so sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful bird. Isn't it amazing how attached we can get to a chicken? My friends laugh at me. I am an animal lover.

Thanks all, she was truly half chicken half human baby lol
I would go into the bathroom 5 seconds later guess who has joined me lol
As you can see from her size I kept her inside for longer than most people probably would.

And yes it is amazing how attached we get to chickens . But they are the little heartbeats at my feet that bring me joy
