yeah I can see someone watching nearby getting your pin number.

However if you were walking down the street, dropped your wallet and the thieves get ahold of your debit card, and decides to use it, they gotta have a pin number. Even on my card says debit card. I can not use my card like a credit card, it would come back not valid. Even it does have the MC logo on it. False sense of security, you bet!

There HAS to be ways in protecting us from ID theft however for us, we have to keep checking on our balances, making sure the purchases are the ones we used.

That's odd to me.

Here, our debit cards can also be used as credit cards. You can select whether to use it as debit or credit for a transaction.
