I guess I think these ducklings respond to silliness like a child does, but yeah, probably not!

These little goobers acted plum goofy the First Time In The BIG Pool. You can’t help but smile and even laugh at them.

Latte will definitely look as if dressed on a brown sweater and white shorts when she is fully feathered. I tried to wash away the »dirt« from the bellies of my first ducklings, i was out of town and when i came back after five days their straw was all poopy and i thought their beautiful yellow down got dirty, so into the tub they went and i started scrubbing the little bellies…
I had no clue what kind of ducklings we bought at Rural King and boy was i surprised that the »dirt« was actual feathers!
This brown Sweater look is what i like so much on the Fawn & White Runners, they really look like little people when the come running at you. Little People in white shorts and brown sweaters.

Only the White Layers do that here, none of the other ducks do this bill gymnastics.

I’m not certain how Latte considers that comfortable. She was resting with her head and neck completely laying longways with her body.

They law! My Buff Orpington sure is growing! She’s already in a DD cup! What on earth!?!

And just some pics of some of our rose bushes. Seeing as I already know the ducklings like rose petals, these bushes probably won’t be this full this time next year. The horses used to eat the bushes down until we moved them to another pasture. And BTW, these roses are actually this vibrant. No filters used.
