And if it helps, she died peacefully and without suffering for a long time.Thank you both, @duluthralphie and @WannaBeHillBilly. Losing an old doggie friend is hard, but then again I’m thankful to have had her for so long.

So sorry to hear. What a sweet dog ❤Believe it or not she was doing much better even late yesterday. This morning the limp is hardly noticeable. I’m amazed because she seemed so hurt a couple of days ago. I am very happy. I hate to see an animal hurting.
Speaking of that, last Friday we had to euthanize my almost 13 year old chocolate lab, Izzy. She had been having trouble breathing and I believe this heat finally got her. She went out with me late in the afternoon Friday and walked down the driveway with me. Never in a million years did I think this would have happened. Walking back to the house she literally could not breathe. Without going into horrific detail, she was gasping for her breaths. If only I had known then what I know now!
She raised one litter of nine puppies and was the best momma. My last remaining inside dog is her puppy and she is almost 12. Izzy is also the only dog I’ve had that would welcome any new puppy or baby into the family. She would also lay up in the yard amongst the chickens and never pay them any mind.
She was the sweetest dog. I never had to get on to her, but if I pretended to scold her I would say, “ Izzy, what’d you do?” She would squint her eyes and a big old grin would come across her face. I wish I had a picture of her doing that. It was hilarious. With as many pictures as I have I probably do, I’ll just have to look for it.

No, no parts seen and I looked when they all jumped out of the pool cause I was curious. However, Ralphie does have a completely different sound. It is not that loud QUACK the other four have. It can be deafening at times.Ralphie may not be Ralphie unless you saw drake parts. Females are the ones that head Bob and they will act just like they are mating another female![]()
Yes, he can be heard right before Petey goes wild in the pool. She was probably thinking, “Oh no big boy, you ain’t getting me!”I hear a drake in the video!
