Are rowan berries safe to feed to the pheasants? I would guess they are since a lot of wild birds eat them, but I also know that for a lot of mammals they have to be frozen or cooked.
 
They have expanded the pheasant run at work today and I came up to find that my precious hat (Dandelion) is pretty severely lame in one leg. I've checked her over and can't find anything really wrong so I'm hoping they just got a bit excited with the building going on and that she will rest it off.
I feel worried though. ☹️ I'm not sure how long to wait before calling the vet out.

She can grip fine with the foot and move around, but is unwilling to do so.
 
went up to see them just before dark to make sure they were all inside, and Dandelion is fine. Her foot is fine. everyone is fine.
Honestly, I'm never having birds again. The STRESS! :barnie 😅
