My mail lady did a drive by drop off!!!!!

Thats what I say!!! I was mortified and still am. I heard horror stories about the post office, but I have NEVER had anything like this happen to me before. What is she getting paid at least $20.00 an hour for!!!!

It sure is a good thing that I'm not your neighbor...I would give that lady a tongue lashing that might involve a restraining order....I bet I could break her down and make her cry!!

My PO didn't care much for me when I ordered live chicks. I called them every day to make SURE that they didn't go out on a truck and come to my mail box.

I gave that man on the phone a lashing like you wouldn't believe.

I told him "Those are LIVE animals and if you screw this up I will have your @#$, do you hear me??!!!!"

That was my first chick order and I heard horror stories of chicks sitting over the weekend at the PO or being delivered on the trucks and getting sick (this was cool weather). I also live in the city and doubt that they have many chicks coming into that PO.

Uhhhh I think this has gave me high pressure . I'm coming Elizabeth!!!

I once had a sewing machine look like that when delivered! And it wasn't one of the plastic cover ones.

To make matters worse, the 1st time the sender mailed it, the PO returned it to them stating that I had refused it. NO I never got it.

They remailed and I watched the PO truck pull up and the woman put an 'attempt to deliver' card in our box. It said I wasn't home. This sewing machine isn't that heavy.

I finally had to go pick it up and it was trashed! Luckily the PO honored the insurance.

When I told the history about it to a postmaster at another PO, he said that we are to notify the office whenever we see behavior like that. If we don't, they don't know what their employees are doing while out delivering mail.

High blood pressure !!!! Mine must be through the roof!!! My hands have been shaking all day and my heart is palpatating!!!! I WILL be bringing the box to the post office in the morning. I will also be calling the 800# we called today with my confirmation #, and I will be waiting at my mailbox tomorrow afternoon. trust me this is NOT over!!!!

My mail lady took a leak in my front yard one day....I thought that was bad....needing to pee isn't nearly as bad as throwing packages!!! I'd be calling and calling and calling...every 30 minutes they'd get a call from me...Did anyone else see it happen?? I can't even begin to imagine how I'd been feeling. Someone's head would roll!

You go girl!!! Don't let it go. What if had been somebody's medical equipment or some kind of liquid medication that somebody needed really bad. I've worked in a Receiving Dept. before and I know things can be damaged with all the heavy equipment, stacking pallets and that kind of thing. But to make it all the way through the system have have a dingbat destroy it on the final leg... wow!! blood pressure again. wayne

The post office here was going to pay for shipping another set of eggs from a breeder when my pkg went all over the state because someone messed up and then a postal employee wrote a wrong zip code on the pkg to cover their tracks. My postmaster drove an hour to get my pkg when they finally found it and he said if I wasn't satisfied with my hatch, he'd arrange with the sending P.O. to pay for the next shipment. He was mortified at his company's dishonestly and incompetence. So, make that woman pay for more eggs for you. It can be done.
