My male duck died

I am so sorry for your loss.. I couldn't imagine losing any of my ducks. You are going to have to spend a lot of time with her because your female duck is just as sad as you are about her friend. And if you just had the 2 it would be good to look into getting another duck so she doesn't get too lonely.

I am so sorry for your loss! You can try to put a mirror in the pen for you female duck, so she can look at her reflection and won't feel as alone. I am so sorry, I have lost a hen because I didn't do enough treatment for her, and it is very hard. I am very sorry.

He is so pretty! I am so sorry I bet he was so sweet. You can get her another companion. Try looking on your local Craigslist and websites for adult ducks who need homes. I you find a drake that needs a home that would be great to. Since you usually can't have boys, if you could get her a rescue companion, or another male duck looking for a home on Craigslist, then you could be saving another ducks life! Most people, if they can't find there males a home, then they eat them.
