Oh my gosh what an adorable duckling, and looks so good you'd never know it had it's foot over top it's head before hatch. I hope the others get going so it will have some buddies to cuddle with.

Egg #4 from nest under hen. This one had pipped internally, but looks shrink-wrapped and it is malpositioned with it's foot over it's head.

This is egg #2 from same nest. It had also pipped internally and is malpositioned with beak/head over wing and it hasn't absorbed it's yolk.

My goodness Kathy these duckjlings are having all kinds of problems trying to hatch do you think they will? Hows duckling #1 doing?

Good news... Egg #5 in the bator has pipped. Bad news... found dead duckling next to hen, looks like a chicken or turkey grabbed it and ate the yolk from it's belly.
