My Muscovies are trying to pip - Pictures

This one had zipped the top, but hadn't tried to come out, so I took the top off...

WOW LOOK HOW CLEAR THE INSIDE OF THAT SHELL IS.. LOL Normally there should be a snot ball looking thing and yet I don't see it. LOL. GOOD JOB. He looks dry, Jack up your Humidity perhaps that's why he was struggling.

Lol, there was a snot ball, I just pinched it off. Humidity is reading 65 on the bator display, but 72 on the internal one. At what point is it dangerous for them?

I haven't used my bator much, so I'm not sure how much I want to push it. The book-set Clinical Avian Medicine recommends brooder/cages for sick birds be set at 70% or just enough to fog the acrylic. Not sure what percent it takes in my bator to fog the lid, but it is not fogged. Maybe I'll raise it a percent or two and see what happens?

NO don't worry about the FOG.
 
How is he doing? Is he walking around? do you have him on wire flooring?
Which one? There are four in the bator on the no slip pad and one is in the chick brooder. Once the ones in the bator fluff up a little more I'll move them to the brooder, which is a big plastic tub with an Eco-Glow 50 on a towel.

Give him at least 24 hours to dry. You mean you only sent pic of one and you have others?? Shame on you girl. Lol send those pics!!!!
