I'm offline for a day . . .
Femmejolie313, I'm sorry
that your story was doubted. Some people have never been subjected to any sort of abuse and don't understand how real it is or can be. Forgive them for their ignorance.
Sounds like your neighbor does have a few screws loose, so he will always be a danger. Surveillance cameras should go up asap and kept running 24/7 even if nothing else happens in the next 2 yrs. This guy is a loose
cannon and something else WILL happen...just a matter of time.
Point 1, he doesn't like you because you messed with the property line boundaries. You don't need to do much to tick him off because he's already ticked at you.
Point 2, He may originally have thought he was doing you a service by keeping your chickens during the blizzard. Why he didn't go put them in your coop I can't tell you...that would have made more sense. He nonetheless says he was looking out for their well being. When you suggested that he had taken your chickens that set him off. Unable to discuss it with you rationally (because he can not) he lets his temper get in the way. In a fit he throws the chickens out in the road.
Point 3, They can not fly because they are taken by their legs and hurled downward. They are unable to recover themselves in time to land properly.
He may or may not feel bad for his actions. He SHOULD know that you mean business and will not tolerate any of his misbehavior EVER. You need to build a run for your chickens. If they go on his property he could do anything to them and you'd never know about it, only wonder.
