My neighbor kidnapped and abused my chickens-seriously

Can you not take the chance of a trespassing charge and go get them? Maybe at night? Or early morning?

That post is from last December and is not the original post. It has been heavily edited, removing a lot of the crucial parts. I would suggest to ALL people currently posting, or thinking of posting, go start another thread. The OP has not been back in quite some time now and would probably appreciate letting the thread go quietly. Hopefully she has found resolution by now, over 2 months later.

Nevertheless, if I were interested in knowing exactly what the law says, I would look up the law myself rather than rely on the accuracy of another. Laws do change, and the circumstances for one provision versus another can be fairly specific.

That's theft and abuse, totally sick. I know some people who would release their wrath on your nieghbors chickens, but I'd do it on the nieghbors themselves. Call the cops for theft and animal control for abuse. See how much you can fine them. I hope your chickens are okay.

I had a nieghbor steal my cat because they wanted to breed him.... (he was scheduled for nueter).... I never recovered him...

Some people are completely messed up. Go buy your own cat, stupid neighbors.
