My nephew and his wife need prayers tonight ( great news and a request)

Wow! This is truly heart wrenching! I'll pray tonight for them and you. Seems you have a good bit of stress from this as well! Good luck! And keep us updated! :confused:g:

I will remember to pray for them all, but if the nephew is a result of worker injury, they need to get a lawyer ASAP. Cost doesn't enter into it until settlement.

Hey all my nephew needs massive prayers. He is now in quarantine. His wife is no longer allowed to visit him. Its considered too dangerous right now. The antibiotics not only were not working but apparently he has caught a secondary infectioln from them. They traced it back to the antibiotics but do not know what it is. They are waiting for the cultures to grow apparently. He is in very very bad shape. He has roughy a 50/50 shot of pulling through this. They are right now checking to see how much organ damage has been done and the staph infection is no longer contained but running through his bloodstream. Its bad. New mom is torn. She wants to be with him but if she goes she is banned from the babies. They would have to be put in someone elses care and she could no longer visit. Even with protective gear and chemical showers they said its too risky. If he pulls through this he would not be allowed to be around the babies until the infection disease doctors give clearance.  They can use every prayer and good thought they can get right now.

The babies are still doing well and progressing. Little stephen is expected to be out before the weekend. Its hard to celebrate the miracles when being crushed though.

OMG.,..this poor family.. :(
They are in my thoughts.. :fl :hugs

We will be praying over here.

All I can say is thank you. My nephew is being released from the hospital. Apparently initial tests were wrong, they got the fully done cultures back finally. The intestinal thing ended up just being a small infection from the antibiotics. No good bacteria, which messed up his gut and caused the bleeding and vomiting. Also the staph infection which they said had moved to his blood is not present and his original infection started responding amazingly well to new antibiotics. The infectious doc cleared him even to see the babies. Thats how good he is.

Not only that but stephen is also being released this weekend and little Garrett apparently has taken off like a rocket ship now that he was finally getting breastmilk. They are saying they might all actually be home by Tuesday. I would stay to celebrate but i have got to up my cleaning, folding and cooking schedule. YAY
