Hens share nests. Basically, if one hen has laid an egg there, it must be a great place to lay eggs, so others will lay theirs there too.
That's why many people put golf balls or faux eggs in nest boxes, to encourage their hens to lay eggs THERE and not in a corner of the coop or out in the yard.
I would enjoy them more if they didn't think I would eat them...
Are eggs safe after they have been left with the chickens for a few days?
I have no idea if they are just empty eggs or if they are ones that might hatch....

The main roo 'flew the coop' with a hen, they are long gone. The younger roo is with them though.
Here are pics I took last night when I brought them Grapes. As you can see, hide and seek, lol. I haven't checked to see if they have eaten the Grapes yet.
