Day four: Creek time!

Took the boys down to the creek for a run earlier. Hiked a little over eight miles total, although the boys ran much furthur. Always far ahead of us and sprinting back to check in. Mack never lost sight of us, nor we sight of him. He stayed under foot the whole hike. Even helped Blue kill a few poisonous snakes and a coon.

After the hike we came home and the boys are all collapsed around me in the living room. About to tackle them for baths... but I'll let them sleep first.

The cats were on the porch when we got home so my friend picked them up and brought them in the house before Mack was allowed in. It's their house first. He needs to remember it.

Look at those legs! That boy is a runner for sure! He is stunning. I so hope you get him sorted out, he is well worth the trouble.

I have a dog somewhat like that. He can't stand anything around me when I'm outside be it a bumblebee, chicken, cat, rabbit, duck, or lord forbid my cousin. But the minute I go out of sight he lays down and lets the chickens eat his food and even let one lay an egg in his house. He has killed some but earned his stay when he alerted me to many snakes, possums, and a pair of foxes. Even a snake that I almost stepped on.
