My new muscovy ducklings!

Pics
Love the belly flop. Gosh they are growing so fast.

Have you had them outside yet they are going to love that.
The weather is not cooperating. However, I did bring in some dirt. I wasn't sure if they cared, but this morning I thought their water looked dirtier than usual. I was like who pooed in here? Then, realized they had swished dirt in there. :D

I got this last week on discount due to a pallet of them getting wet. Since these are outdoor kennels, I was like score!

I am planning on letting the ducklings venture outdoors while corralled in it once the temps warm up.
My question - how do I get the ducklings from their brooder to the kennel? They are more receptive to me, but picking them up still results in chaos. Should I try a pet carrier? Large tub with lid? Chunnel? Lol

Nice score!!

I used a clear tote when hauling mine to the bathroom for bath time. The clear tote allows for them to see whats going on around them. The younger they are, the better they are for handling. For me, it seems more of a fight getting them out of the brooder now then a couple weeks ago. If it wasn't for mealworms i don't think they would ever come towards me. Once they got to big for the tote, i just stated to let them walk to the bathroom and because i did the tote thing every day with them, get this.....they knew right where to go.

Smart lil cookies :love

@Soon2BChixMom that is an awesome find!! looks like they maybe ABLE to squeeze through some spots so might have to reinforce. But very cool for getting them outside once it's warm :thumbsup
Oh yeah, I was already planning to reinforce. They will only be in there when I am outside for now. I am waiting for it to warm up a little more before starting this next step.
