Pretty pretty! i think silkies are just the most beautiful things! Wow, you have a great pen, tons of room.

i had thought about a baby monitor for my pen. They even have ones with night vision video. My husband thinks it's a silly idea, but i may just get one anyways. Beats keeping one ear awake all night wondering what's happening outside.

My white silkies are also skittish whilst my buff are really laid back!!! must be something in the genes!

Well i can judge the personalities too much yet, i know this is all so new for them.
They want so bad to get in with the group, but i know i hafta wait. We (as in DH) are going to make the bantam pen bigger so they will all have room. He even picked up some wood and metal roofing to build a porch for them to have cover in the rain

BUT...

Seems like you might have wanted to quarantine them away from your other birds for a while... ? I know you haven't put them all together in the same pen, but things can still get passed around to your flock through wire. I hope you're lucky and your new little fluffs are healthy!
