Thats my question. In texas you just have to have clear background check and you walk out with your purchase. It shows dallas with the post and might be in a city limits. That creates problem for firearms. Coyotes, bobcats and grey foxes live in the urban enviorment here and thrive.

I had him snared but he managed to flip the anchor up over the top of the T-post. It wasn't the standard post but the shorter lighter weight ones but still never imagined it could bounce it up abit little more than 4' off the top of the post. I'll be attaching drags to the snares in addition to anchoring them to posts.

Also I think I'm dealing with more than one. Maybe a breeding pair and the one last night was the female. First pic is this morning. Second is previous night a while back. Second one seems larger.

This is scary. I want to get a game cam to see what predators are coming around my coops. I hadn't had a death from any of my coops and then something happened to rip and opening in the wire mesh floor. We didn't have the chance to repair it before a Possum got one of my 14 week old mixed cockerels. My DH and FIL got the possum (which is now in the maggot bucket) and I cooked up the cockerel and fed him back to the flock. The issue is now fixed.

I saw your posts on the FB Cornish group. That one lady who was railing on you for even thinking about destroying the pests was nutso.

Every piece of land has been annexed by a city. Everything is within city limits. This does not prevent a landowner from protecting his stock from predators on his property or property the landowner legally controls.

In that case I'd double down and let the city or county Animal control provide some additional traps that are bobcat sturdy as well. Lord knows you are already being taxed for that service anyway!
