My backyard farm, Maine
Until my Dad showed me a package of deer meat that needed to be cooked up.
So I used some of it to make beef stroganoff.
Then I took the rest and tossed it in a freezer bag with terriyaki marinade, natural seasoning, monterey steak seasoning and seasoned salt.
Soaked for 24 hours.
Put in a pan lined with tin foil and lightly coated in olive oil and broiled on Low for 20 minutes.
Ever had the beef terriyaki from a Chinese resuraunt?
Yeah...

Once they know you're good at something...
I made some deer meat stroganoff a few weeks back. It really was good. I think the venison helps us cooks out a lot.

keep up the good work!

Your parents are lucky to have you! My husband just filled our freezer with deer meat from our own land. So, thanks for the ideas for cooking it. :)

Yup. Smoked up about a dozen racks of babybacks for my parents anniversary party. Now they expect it every weekend!
